Équipe St-Léonard

A new municipal political party driven by a strong desire for change, a bold vision, and renewed leadership for the borough. 100% dedicated to St-Léonard and supported by the current mayor, Michel Bissonnet, this movement aims to restore full political autonomy to the community.

Suzanne De Larochellière, a committed leader and native of St-Léonard, is the mother of three children. She retired as a sergeant-specialist with the Sûreté du Québec after 31 years of service. She then worked in the private sector to gain solid management experience. A volunteer in the St-Léonard community for 23 years, she has been a municipal elected official for four years.

Under Suzanne’s leadership, Équipe St-Léonard is launching its campaign with a strong promise: to offer St-Léonard leadership that is honest, confident, rigorous, dynamic, and humane. We will make a respectful transition, preserving our heritage while opening the future to new energy.

Our mission

To put together a team of dynamic elected officials who have relevant expertise and who will be there to shape the future of St-Léonard.

Restore the political autonomy that St-Léonard has lost since the mergers.

Obtain elected officials who are dedicated solely to the citizens of St-Léonard so that their working hours are devoted to the borough.

Speed up decision-making by increasing the frequency of elected officials’ caucus meetings.
Vote in city council, free from influence, based on the values and needs of the citizens of St-Léonard.

Protect and maintain the achievements of the citizens of St-Léonard.

Collaborate and negotiate with the ruling party in the City of Montreal with the sole concern of the residents of St-Léonard.
